Maybe It's just me but does anybody else think that the sixth place hat is way better than all the others?

I hadn't thought of that. That would be great! I think that the 6th place hat on a mesmer would be awesome though.

Chances are, if they would have done the sixth hat, they wouldn't have effed it up so bad on killing the original design. Plus, that's more like a Dwayna hat, so they would have had to come up with something for Grenth, and a wreath of candles wasn't gonna cut it, I don't think.

I like the first one that Nian did, not the one that ANet threw together.

Because I thought this thread was about the festival hats in general, I'll throw in my two cents on that. Dragon Mask = Best. Tengu Mask = Worst, simply because of it's extremely limited ability to obtain. If it had been a public thing, it'd be one of the better ones.

I agree with you on the dragon hat. It's the best one by far. The tengu isn't bad, but not as good as the dragon.

Tengu mask is my favourite (too bad I never got one) followed by Dragon Mask, Wicked Hat and Wreath Crown (even though it only looks good on some female characters). Ice Crown (aNet version) is my least favourite followed closely by the Halloween 2007 masks.

Well it's a matter of opinion. But I really do think it's the best hat of the six. I like five as well, but it just isn't as stylish. It's more of a comical piece, which has it's merits too.

4th place looked pretty cool. 1st place would've been awesome if it wasn't transferred so terribly in the game (tiny, gray and a blond mullet??)

Tengu Mask + 15k Canthan Warrior = Worth the lack of Armor to the head. Beautiful and consistent combo, I was blown away when I saw it.
